I received Mr. Steamy services through some special coupon, which is why the price was low. It was for cleaning a certain number of square feet, which was fine because my house is mostly wood floors anyway. I had the carpeted play room, stairs to the basement, and a bedroom rug cleaned.
The young man who came was very professional and right on time. He walked around to see where he was going to work and got right to it. I'll bet he was here about an hour. He wisely moved the rug downstairs to the carpeted basement to clean it so that its dampness wouldn't hurt the wood floor. The playroom is a very used room and opens to the garage, so there was a lot of winter foot traffic, not to mention that it's the dog's favorite room. He was able to get the dog/winter yuck smell out, which I was very happy about. I would say that the only thing that occurred differently is that the carpet took about 2 days to dry instead of the 1 day that the Mr. Steamy guy said it would. But it was also humid outside and too cool to open the windows. Otherwise, though, a very positive experience.
